Anybody who posts a picture of a finished Stray Cat shawl posing-as-a-cat to the Stray Cat Photo Gallery thread will get a pattern of their choice from my Ravelry Store.

Stray Cat is the second pattern from the Inner Gardens e-book.

Stray Cat is designed for two colors of lace weight or fingering yarn. But why not use leftovers from your previous projects for more contrasting colors, or even multi-variegated yarn, which is usually difficult to integrate into lace projects.

The shawl is worked from the neck down and starts with just a few stitches. It is shaped in such a way that it will stay on your shoulders conveniently even before blocking.

For detailed information about measurements of the finished shawls, yarn amounts needed for different sizes etc. please download the first two pages of the pattern: preview pages. The pattern is fully written out and charted.

The yarn suggestions are based on the recommendations of test knitters who worked shawls from these yarns. Photos of the sample shawl courtesy of Antal Szentendrei.
