I originally designed this blanket for my grandson Theo for use in his car seat. It’s small enough to keep a little one cosy but not enough blanket to be forever trailing everywhere as well as being bulky. The stripes can be knit in all manner of colour combinations to suit little baby boys and girls and an ideal make in unisex colours if the expected baby isn’t known to be a boy or girl. It’s simple to make bigger for a crib, cot or lap blanket but be sure to adjust the amount of yarn you have.
This is a great pattern for a beginner or novice to do or for an easy television knit too.
