Discontinued. This digital pattern is no longer available online.

Level: Advanced Beginner Written in US terminology
Tension: Medium. Unnecessary to do a test square as you can measure the hat as you go along for sizing
You will need:
Yarn - approximately 150m/164 yards of Chunky or Aran yarn. My favourites to use are:
• James C Brett Merino chunky – 2 balls
• Paintbox Simply Chunky (2 balls required) or Aran (1 ball)
• Scheepjes Chunky Monkey (2 balls)
• King Cole Timeless chunky (1 ball)
• Scheepjes Namaste (2 balls)
• Knitcraft Leader of the Pac (1 ball)
• Any other chunky or aran yarn would be fine. For any other yarn weight, measure the head
and adjust as required. Stars need a multiple of 2 + 1 to work in this pattern.
Crochet Hook 6mm/ Size J for Chunky or 5mm/ Size H for Aran Yarn Needle
