This is one of my favorite designs of all time. I have been wearing this tank nonstop since i made it, and that’s the reason i am doing another in another color combo. Chances are I will make a third.
What do i love about it:

1. Great in really hot weather, since it is 100% silk, and super comfortable and cool.
2. Doesn’t require seaming or blocking and the yarn is insanely gorgeous. Can hand wash carefully as long as you dry flat.
3. Can be worn by itself in summer or under jacket in winter, so extremely versatile.
4. Top down design means once you work it in the round after the armholes, the knitting is brainless TV knitting.
5. Horizontal stripes which I consider usually usually unflattering because they tend to make people look larger, are great if you go from large stripes to skinny stripes and give the illusion of waist shaping that way (even though there is NO waist shaping in the pattern)
6. Short rows on the top shoulders really help with the fit.
