Striped Onesie
This top-down striped Onesie designed by Niki V is easy to knit. It can be tried on your baby as you go - to ensure a perfect fit. It can be worked in any color combination.
The striped Onesie is knitted from the neck down with
decorative 2-st cables along the raglan sleeve increases.
The sleeves are bound off. Then the body continues in the
round until divided to work the pants back and forth in rows.
The skirt is picked up and knit along the garter ridge at
the waist of the body and knit in round in stockinette stitch.

German twisted cast-on, knitting in the round,
knitting stripes in the round, cables, picking up sts.

235, 270) meters / 159 (170, 208, 224, 257, 295) yards.
NEEDLES AND NOTIONS
• 4mm (US6) circular needle with cable length 100 cm/40 in.
• Cable needle, scrap yarn or stitch holder for pant
• tapestry needle
• 6 stitch makers: 4 regular stitch markers, 1 BOR st marker, removable st marker
• Buttons – size 12mm / 0.5 in.; 3 (3, 3, 3, 3, 4) total.
GAUGE
22 sts and 27 rounds = 10 cm/4 in. worked in rounds of St st
over striped pattern, after blocking.
For best results, be sure to get the gauge.
