Throughout my design career, I have relied on a personal mantra of “Simplify and Exaggerate”. The STRIPES and FRILLS SHAWL is a perfect example of how such a philosophy can work. Simplified to two colors in bold garter stitch stripes and “finished” with a fanciful frilled edging, this shawl can be draped in countless ways to add a quiet and elegant touch to any ensemble.
