For me, this colorful scarf symbolizes the blossoming heather in August.
Purple, red, lilac and a little lime knitted in textured stripes gives a challenging result.
This scarf consists of 4 strips that are crocheted together.
The yarn used is from the company Lana Grossa. Ecopuno and Lace Seta are beautiful thin threads in cotton, merino, wool, silk and Alpaca.

The four bias knit strips in opposing directions create a chevron pattern when crochet together. The panels are worked in garter stripe pattern with stockinette background.
The strip is worked at an angle from an angle, by increasing and decreasing.

Strip 1 and 3 have the same color distribution, just like strip 2 and 4. You can follow the described color distribution but of course you are free to choose your own. My starting point in each strip is 1 base color, plum or lilac with accent colors Red, Lime and Grey.

Colorful stripe game which is a challenge to knit.
