Materials: 2 oz “medium weight yarn” (which is Sport/Dk in modern terms), stuffing material (preferably the same color as pony). Small amount of waste yarn in 4 colors, Black yarn for eyes. (Smaller needles are for rearranging stitches, opening tubes). Tapestry needle.

This pony is knit entirely using double knitting. It is worked flat on two needles but produces circular knitting. Shaping is done with dec/inc and short rows.
