This cowl is a dream to work – with an interesting stitch pattern, and DK or fingering-weight options, it’ll fly off of your needles and onto your neck.

Yarn
DK version: 230 yards. I used Knitted Wit Victory DK, colorway Pecan Sandies (brown).
Fingering version: 350 yards.

Needles
DK version: US6/4mm needle for small circumference knitting, or size needed to get gauge.
Fingering version: US4/3.5mm needle for small circumference knitting, or size needed to get gauge.

Notions
Nine stitch markers (including three unique, end-of-repeat markers), tapestry needle.

Gauge
DK version: 18 sts = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch, measured after blocking.
Fingering version: 24 sts = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch, measured after blocking.

Finished measurements
Both versions: 22” circumference, 10” tall, measured at the tallest point.
