You can use scrap yarn for the lines in between the Main Color.

For a bigger and lacier Shawl you can increase to size US 7 or 8. You will only need more Main color Yarn or use the Contrast for the mesh edging.

When it is completed the shawl has a circular shape so block it in a circle for a flowy fabric.

This is a very flexible pattern, the needle size will yield the size of the shawl. The sample in the photos was knitted with size US 8 needles. There is no gauge required. Just have fun in creating your Sublime Persuasion shawl.
