This is a lacy smock top for a child, in three sizes 24”, 26” & 28” chest (ie between 6 - 11 years old approximately). I wrote this pattern in summer 2006, and donated it to the Feed the Children charity, to be included in their fund-raising booklet published Summer 2007.

Update October 2008 - The original booklet ‘Best Yarn Forward’ sold out, but a new edition / version called ‘Next Best Yarn’ is now being produced by Feed the Children UK, and can be ordered here
