Sugar Plum Dance
Every year at holiday time, I make it a point to watch The Nutcracker. The parade of sweets is my favorite part, culminating in the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. Sugarplums are a hard-shelled sweet filled with spices, nuts, or seeds, often used for celebrations. Their round shapes can be found dancing up and down this hat.
This hat is available in five sizes to fit everyone in the family. The piece is worked bottom-up in the round beginning with a contrast color brim. Cables can be worked with or without a cable needle.
Skills required: basic stitches, cables, i-cord cast-on, and bind-off.
Matching cowl pattern is available separately.
