The Sugarloaf Mountain Beanie is a nod to one of my favorite hiking places in Arkansas. The ridges and valleys made by the addictive front post/ back post double crochets reminds me of this beautiful mountain.
In this pattern, you’ll find a written pattern featuring six different sizes, tips, and up close picture tutorials of certain techniques. It also includes a closed top version as well as an opening for messy bun days!

I made two adult versions; my original colorful with the bun top used two strands of DK weight yarn held double (Yarn Bee Urban Chic). Feel free to use a regular number 4 weight yarn or play around with scraps to get a totally custom look.
