SUGARLOAF SOCKS

This design was inspired by the stunning Sugarloaf colour way by Birdstreet Yarn. The texture on the leg of the sock gives an almost 3D effect that reminded me of sugar cubes. It is a very simple pattern that is written and charted and would be perfect for a beginner sock knitter.

PATTERN INFORMATION
Sizes: 1 (Adult M, 64 sts)/ 2 (Adult L, 72 sts)
To fit approximately 8-inch (20 cm)/9-inch (22.5 cm) foot circumference.
Yarn: Birdstreet Yarn merino sock (75% SW Merino Wool/25% Nylon) 100g/400m (437yds) in the Sugarloaf colour way.
Needles: 2.5 mm / US 1.5 (or size needed to get gauge).
Gauge: 8 sts & 12 rounds = 1 inch / 2.5 cm in stocking stitch
