Sultry Shoulder Sweater
Flattering on any size, the off-the-shoulder design on this crochet sweater pattern shows off those sultry shoulders while keeping you cozy. Three basic stitches work together in this pattern: The half double crochet stitch, camel stitch and front post/back post double crochet ribbing. A familiarity with these stitches is helpful for the pattern but not required. Links to helpful tutorials for the necessary stitches are included.
This sweater is worked from the top-down so it’s easy adjust the lengths of the sleeves or body however you see fit! Using heavy worsted/aran weight yarn like Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran and a 6.5mm (US J) hook means this project won’t take much time at all before you have a wearable piece!
Now, this sweater does call for about 1200 yards (1000 meters) of yarn so if you’ve got a bunch of beautiful worsted weight yarn in your stash, this might be the project to use it!
