Sumire means Violet in Japanese. We feel the spring is coming when we see and smell this beautiful light purple flower. Two lace patterns are used to describe the airy feeling of spring.

The Poncho is worked in the round from the top down. Increases are worked evenly in the upper body to accommodate the lace pattern, then two lace patterns are worked to the hem.
