Summer Baby Booties
In this pattern I combine my love of fabrics with my love of yarn - hoping to bring you creative inspiration from Matilda’s Meadow!
This is a simple project that involves a little basic crocheting and sewing to make stunning baby shoes for the spring or summer - choose your own fabric and have fun designing unique Baby Shoes that co-ordinate with summer clothing - crochet has never been such fun!
It’s worth keeping in mind that you could make a fabulous version of these for a baby boy - just choose denim, or maybe a nice check cotton and a dark colour for the crochet section. They will be totally unique, practical and trendy - that’s everything that I aspire to with my designs.
Make them in linen or cotton - the lovely basket mesh stitch means that the booties will be nice and cool in warmer weather. But if you make them in wool with nice wool or jersey fabric they’ll be as cozy as can be!
Written instructions for 4 sizes: 0-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-18 months and 18-24 months.
