Cardigan body is worked bottom up in one piece to the armholes, starting with 2 x 2 ribbing then stockinette stitch with the front cable bands incorporated into the body with buttonholes spaced. Stitches are cast off for the armholes and all stitches except left front are put on a holder.

Sleeves are also worked bottom up in the round to the armholes like the body. The pattern connects the sleeves with the body to form a yoke.

In the yoke decreasing sleeves and body will form a raglan-look which continues to incorporate the front cable band. The front cable band is continued on across the raglan, sleeve and back piece to half of the back. After the second cable band is worked on the other front side they are sewn together.

Finishing includes sewing armhole openings and buttons.
