Summer Chevrons Bag
Summer calls for casually carrying small things around in a bag while running around and doing errands during the day. Wool can get too hot, so I’ve made this bag with a lightweight, but durable yarn in a fun colorway to keep things interesting! This bag is a beginner-friendly design which is knit up in two pieces: one for the body, and a longer piece that serves as the sides to the bag and the strap as well. You can decide to either sew the pieces together or use a sturdy single crochet to hold it all in place. After a nice blocking, this piece holds its shape, and the yarn doesn’t stretch out so much that the bag becomes too big and bulky. It’s a great combination that makes for a new favorite summer accessory!
