I designed this duo of charming coasters using the suggested absorbent yarns for Jimmy Beans Wool. Crocheters will work in a flat round to accomplish these little liners that will keep drips off the furniture.

You will need 3 different colors of an absorbent, worsted weight yarn. Two coasters take about 400 yards of yarn, making this is a good stash buster pattern. If you use the Fibra Natura Flax, you will have to hold 2 strands together. So you will need more yardage than for the other colors.

The gauge will vary since the yarns are different. The object is to get a fabric with a firm feel. Make your stitches tighter rather than looser.
