Boat-necked sweater has an interesting textured stitch which is echoed in the frill on the outside of the sleeve. The jumper is knitted in separate panels, with the front, back and outer sleeve worked in the lacy stitch with the plainer side and underarm panels all joined together with the thonged overstitching. The chevron sleeve strip is sewn on when making up.
