This pattern combines to previous patterns I have done with minor adjustments to create this summer hat. The major things about this hat is you will need an iron and a way to stiffen the hat to create a strong brimmed summer hat.

I used Knifty Knitter 36 peg loom for the project but you can use a 44 peg CinDwood Loom for this project as well.
I doubled my strands and that provides a solid base but when Ironed down it thins out appearance to a more straw hat look. After stiffening it should give a real close appearance to a straw hat.
