This empire-line top was designed with curvelicious bodies in mind. The bust is knit in dense garter stitch, and the skirt flares out to drape flatteringly over tummy and hips. The garter bust, with the thick ribbon straps, means that any bra worn underneath is completely hidden.

Wear in summer as it is, or in autumn and spring over a business-like white shirt. Super-easy to make, this project only uses one 100g (about 400m) skein of sockweight (or 4-ply) yarn, so use that souvenir skein that you’ve been saving for a special occasion!
