Summer Owl No Digit Mitts - owlies for cooler summer evenings, or warmer winter days. Fingers free for fiddly tasks. A tighter fit for a neater look. These look great in natural and bright colours. They are so cute, and are super for presents or why not keep them for yourself! And with 5 sizes available, from 2yrs to large adult, gift giving was never easier!

This is an easy/intermediate knit, with simple cabling, knit FLAT on two needles and sewn up the side. Line by line instructions are given in English, with British/US terms. The cabling is very easy - you just need a cable needle! Yarn recommendations are included, but most Double Knit/Light Worsted yarns should work well, (just check your tension/gauge), so it’s a great stash buster!

MATERIALS

• 1 x 100g ball Berroco Vintage DK Mochi 02101 (Ivory) for the adult, and Misty 02113 (blue)for the child, was used in the photos. The cream and brown gloves were knitted by me a while ago, and I can’t remember what the yarn was, but I thought it would show you some different colours!

Approx. amounts of yarn used if you use a different make of DK/worsted yarn: approx.
20,( 25, 30, 40, 50)g. If you use a different type of yarn, you may like to check your tension/ gauge before you start, but the resulting size should be fairly consistent.

• 3.25mm (UK10 – US3) and 4mm (UK8 – US6) knitting needles.
• A cable needle.

  • A tapestry needle.
  • 4 buttons or black yarn.
