The Summer Scoop is a simple, boxy tee featuring interrupted garter stitch, which creates a striping effect. The front neckline is a gentle scoop neck and the back dips lower. Knit in Purl Soho’s Picnic Cotton yarn, which is available in a variety of colors, the main color of the yarn is wrapped around a white core, creating a marled effect in the knit fabric. Construction:
The Summer Scoop is knit from the bottom up in pieces. The front and back feature neckline and shoulder shaping. The shoulders are seamed using the 3 needle bind off and the sides are seamed. Sleeves are picked up and worked in the round outward from the body.
