Pattern is written in US standard crochet terms

Difficulty level : Beginner (the pattern is written using basic crochet terminology, but does require two strands of yarn be held/worked together. The pattern also uses a double crochet cross over stitch for some of the rounds. The blog contains only written instructions for this section, but the PDF file contains BOTH written instructions and photo tutorial)

Materials Used:

• Weight #3 Cotton Yarn - I used Premier Chameleon Yarn - White to Purple (alternative comparable yarn would be Hobby Lobby I Love This Cotton)
• 4.5mm Hook
• Needle for weaving in ends
• Optional: 4-5 pipe cleaners OR floral wire (to create a more stable brim edge)

Finished Size of hat should fit an average adult sized head. Although Yarn weight, hook size, and tension can create slight differences in sizing.
