This doll is ready to head to the shore for some fun in the sun. The doll has a flamingo swim ring, a cute summer dress and sandals, plus a co-ordinating beach bag too.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the doll is knitted on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 30g in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, buttons or beads for eyes, a stitch holder, and embroidery thread to decorate.

SIZES
One size only - 20cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, short rows, and seaming to finish. You also need to crochet single chains for the bag handles and sandal straps.
