Morning, Spider Web –
On Pearls of Dew,
Sun Ray Play.

From the pattern:

The Sun Ray Shawl is a top-down, triangular shawl in 2 mirror image sections. The Sun Ray motif is a modified Ivy pattern from Barbara Walker’s Charted Knitting Designs: A Third Treasury of Knitting Patterns, p.154. Ivy pattern has a 10 row repeat and Sun Ray pattern has a 20 row repeat – all even number rows (wrong side return rows) are purled. The basic structure of the shawl is very simple. On the same row, the single decrease stitch is always in the same direction on one side (right) and mirror image on the other side (left). Therefore, it is a good beginner’s shawl.

Crochet hook is used for provisional cast on.
