The silhouette & texture of this cardigan provide effortless style and comfort alongside an easy fit with (optional) pockets. With a moderate amount of positive ease, this stripey sport weight cardi is perfect year-round based on your styling. It’s an ideal layering piece for dresses, tops & tanks. Sweater is worked from the top down with drop-shoulder seamless sleeves and a contrasting circular hem that includes hem, buttonband & neckline in the round. Enjoy options for 3/4 length or long sleeves, cropped or a longer body. The shape of this garment is detailed with rounded corners at the bottom and looks just as lovely when worked solid. A single button closure is written, but you can just as easily skip it for an open cardi or to use a shawl pin for closure.

SIZING

Sweater is shown in Size 4 with approx 6.5”/16.5 cm positive ease. 5-8”/12.5-20.5 cm positive ease is recommended. With this construction method and level of ease, you may use your Upper Chest/Upper Bust to choose your size, which will likely result in a better fit at the neckline & shoulders. EXPERIENCE

Pattern is suitable for adventurous beginner to intermediate level knitters comfortable with basic increasing & decreasing, provisional & cable cast-ons, short row shaping and picking up and knitting stitches. Stripe Pattern is easy to follow for knitters of any level. Written instructions are included for basic W&T short rows and optional Tubular BO.
