Sunflower
The Sunflower is easy to crochet. I made them in 3 sizes:
-
Small flower is perfect to use as coaster. It measures 4.5 inches in diameter. I used Aunt Lydia’s crochet thread size 10 (brown, orange and yellow) and crochet hook size 1.75 mm.
-
Medium flower is the one made in the video tutorial. It measures 6 inches in diameter. I found three different types of yarn in my stash, so this is a perfect project to use your leftover yarn. Brown (color A) is Lion Brand Bonbon cotton (weight fine – size 2), orange (color B) is Lizbeth crochet thread size 3 and yellow (color C) is Alize Bella cotton yarn (also weight fine – size 2). Crochet hook is size 2.25 mm.
-
Big flower measures about 9.5 inches in diameter. I used Caron Simply Soft yarn and crochet hook size 5 mm.
