A chevron lace pattern mimics the seeds and jumbo petals of an overgrown sunflower. Knit in a bright and saturated yellow, it can bring sun to the gloomiest of rainy days.

Sizing
for lace (fingering, dk) weight versions finished measurements are:
scarf: 52 (56, 64)” wide and 20 (24, 26)” deep
shawl: 67 (72, 82)” wide and 26 (30, 34)” deep
Finished size will vary depending on how aggressively the finished shawl is blocked.

500 (850) yards lace weight yarn
550 (950) yards fingering/sock weight yarn
650 (1100) yards dk weight yarn

Needles
lace weight: US #5 / 3.75mm
fingering weight: US #6 / 4mm
dk weight: US #7 / 4.5mm
