This is an intermediate pattern with increasing, post stitches to create the illusion of petals, bobbles/popcorn stitches to create the look of seeds, pattern is worked in the round until the the end, then it is worked in rows to create the tops of the petals, finally you will need to work in the sides of the stitches to create the edging, there is both increasing and decreasing of stitches in the triangles and edging.
Materials :worsted weight baby yarn in 2 colors (note a heavy yarn like red heart will not work, it needs to be a lighter yarn), yarn in sample was Lion Brand Pound of Love color honey bee for the petals, Bernat baby sport color baby taupe for the seeds
Other materials/tools: tapestry needle
Hook size steel hook, us H/8, 5mm
Gauge, rnds 1-5=6.5”
Finished size 40” in diameter
