This beautiful sunflower-inspired beret was especially designed by British actress, Lynda Bellingham, for The Knitter’s Make 1 for Mencap campaign. Lynda has put together two close shades of yellow – a current fashion colour favourite – for a bright, contemporary look. The ribbed band ensures a snug fit, and the
star-shaped crown, worked in six diamond shapes, makes a great, bold feature. The pattern is knitted flat and then seamed to
make working the intarsia section easier.

Pattern uses Rowan Pure Wool DK in shades Gilt and Platinum Yellow.
