This pattern is now available for purchase on Ravelry as a single pattern or together with Crocus Shawlette in the eBooklet, Silver and Gold.

A golden shawlette with a floral mesh body and ridged border that gives a vintage feel. This piece is a perfect wrap for chilly evenings. The narrow crescent shape is worked top-down and achieved with rapid increasing at each edge, allowing you to choose your final size as you knit. The sample is shown in Mini Mica, a shimmery fingering wool/silk yarn from Saffron Dyeworks, but any weight yarn may be used (adjust yardage and gauge accordingly).

Skill level: Intermediate. Both written and charted instructions are provided.

SIZES
Small (Medium)

APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS
50 (56) inches wide x 14 (15) inches deep

MATERIALS
--450 (625) yds fingering-weight yarn
Small sample used: Saffron Dyeworks Mini Mica, color: Amber Stone, 1 skein.

Note: exact gauge is not necessary but a tighter gauge may result in excess puckering at the shawl edges. If you substitute yarn, use a looser gauge than is normally used for that yarn.

This pattern was offered free with yarn or fiber purchase from Saffron Dyeworks during July 2011.
