Sun bears all have an orange patch on their chest, every bear’s is different. Sun bears are native to the tropical forests of southeast Asia, including Myanmar and Bangladesh.

Pattern description
This pattern is worked legs first, which are joined and then worked together to form the body. Two stitches are left on either side for arms which the chest and back are worked back anf forth (the chest patch will be worked here). The chest and back are joined to form the head, which is worked in the round, then back and forth to leave a hole for the snout. Stitches are gradually cast off and the ears are worked at the top of the head. Stitches are then picked up to form the snout. Stitches are picked up around the arms to make the arms. Lastly, a nose and eyes are embroidered on.
