Sunrise Sunset
Nothing lights me up like the sun. Every season, the sun shifts a bit but keeps warming us and lighting our world. It’s amazing, isn’t it? All that light and warmth, just for us?
As a tribute to the sun, I offer you Sunrise Sunset, a crocheted pocket shawl to show our appreciation for all the beautiful colors our sun offers us.
Choose Sunrise, a vibrant pastel-going-on-bright wakeup colorway to honor the start of this beautiful day, or Sunset, a darker blend of bold colors to usher in rest after a long day of living, loving, and satisfaction.
This pattern consists of very basic stitches, perfect for a beginner. It includes a color chart for both colorways, but please feel free to blend your own five colors together to create something unique, just for you! The pockets are seamed up just how you like them, easily made to the sizes you want them to be.
Stitches: Chain (ch,) slip stitch (sl st,) double crochet (dc)
Special stitch: dc, ch 1, dc all in the same space (V-st)
Yarn: Worsted (#4) approx. 1090 yards, or 218 yards each of five colors

“Sunrise” - C1 Banane, C2 Fondant, C3 Aster, C4 Misty, and C5 Sky
“Sunset” - C1 Butternut, C2 Pumpkin, C3 Ruby, C4 Black Cherry, C5 Dried Plum
Hook: US7/4.5mm or size needed to obtain gauge

NOTES:
~ The seaming of the pockets is meant for each crocheter to create the pocket sizes that they want. Therefore, they are fully customizable. Create just two large pockets by placing a single seam through the middle of the main pocket, or create many smaller pockets by adding multiple seams throughout. This is YOUR shawl; make it how you want it!
