This hat features a simple, yet a very intriguing design, making it a perfect quick knit project for a baby boy (sized between 6 months up to 3 years). It is knit continually without breaking the yarn.

The gauge: 20 sts x 34 rows = 4” x 4” (10cm x 10cm) worked in garter stitch. Use bigger or smaller needles to get the correct tension.

Needles: 3.5mm straight, circular, and/or double point needles.

Yarn: both Sunseeker Shade (by Cascade Yarns) and Cotton Supreme DK (by Universal Yarn) worked well for this pattern.

Alternate Yarns: any cotton or cotton blend yarns in DK or light worsted weight should work well, but remember to test the tension first.
