> Sunset Cowlette

Sunset Cowlette
This cowlette begins like a traditional flat
triangular shawl with an increase at each
end, and two in the center. Then it is joined
in the round with the increases only
appearing in the center of the shawl. At the
same time, textured stripes are created
with moss stitch. The cowlette is then
finished with lace edging.

*Inspired by campfires and breezy summer nights, this cowlette is designed to not only be a relaxing knit, but a comfortable blend of a cowl and a shawlette. It also creates different textures by holding yarn double or single. *
This cowlette can be knit in either DK weight or fingering weight yarn!
