The Sunset Tank is a lightweight cotton and merino blend top. Perfect for spring and summer, this fast and easy tank top features knits, purls and simple decreases.

The pattern begins with the front and back knit flat. Once they reach a certain length, the front and back will be joined together and worked in the round. The pattern switches again to knitting flat when the triangle decreases begin.

If you want to add extra length to your top, add additional rows of stockinette stitch in the round before beginning the decrease rows. If you do add extra length to your tank-top, you will require additional yarn.

For an advanced strap, knit I-Cord instead of stockinette for the length required.

The Sunset tank is an Epiphany Knitwear and Ravelution Yarn collaboration. Melanie, from Ravelution Yarn, specializes in custom dyed yarns, working out of her studio in Onatrio, Canada.
You will get to work directly with her to create the perfect color for your tank top, whether it’s a solid dye or variegated.

Due to every knitters individual knitting style, tension and gauge will vary from knitter to knitter. Finished measurements may also vary. Anything within 1”(2.5cm) is perfect!

This knitting pattern has been written in metric and imperial units, has been test knit, tech edited, and colour coded for ease.
