Sunshine Coast Cushions
A pair of crocheted cushions inspired by sunshine on the coast and a sunny day at the beach!
’Day by Day’ enjoying moments under a sun filled sky with clouds passing and ‘Tide by Tide’ gazing out to sea…
Various crochet techniques are used in this pattern.
Kits with all the yarn you need and including the printed pattern are available from The Knitting Network here: https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=18657&awinaff...
Materials:
Emu Classic DK (100g/282m/ 100% acrylic); 1 ball in each of the following colours: Dijon (147), Cadet (140), Cream (102), Ivy (145), Biscotti (111), Peacock (138), Aqua (108), Pepper Red (119).
4mm (US G/6) crochet hook, two cushion pads 38cm x 38cm (or 1cm - 2cm larger than finished panel size), stitch marker, yarn needle and scissors.
Pattern Notes
The cushion panels measure approximately 37cm x 37cm. The cushion pad needs to be a little larger so that the cushion cover gently eases and stretches over the pad for a neat and snug finish. Once both panels have been worked they are crocheted together over the cushion pad.
Tension
15 treble stitches across and 10 rows measures 10cm x 10cm (4in x 4in)
