This children’s colorwork yoke sweater is available in six sizes to fit toddlers to preteens. The pattern uses one main colour of worsted weight yarn, along with six mini skeins in a rainbow gradient, worked top-down and seamlessly in the round. The neckline is cast on and worked in ribbing, optional short rows are added, the yoke is increased through wedges using the colorwork chart(s), the body and sleeves are divided and then worked in a flea pattern to the hemlines and cuffs. This pattern also includes instructions to knit a coordinating sweater to fit a stuffed animal toy, such as a Jellycat.com “Bashful” medium soft toys.

NEEDLES 40 inch/100 cm circular for magic loop or needles required for preferred method of working in the round. Recommended sizes:

• small 4 mm (US 6),
• medium 4.5 mm (US 7), and
• large 5 mm (US 8), or sizes needed to obtain gauge.

NOTIONS scissors, scrap yarn or stitch holders, tapestry needle, stitch markers.
