Contrasting toes, heels, cuffs, and a splash of decorative duplicate stitch distinguish this simple ribbed sock. Knit in a hearty non-superwash wool, the Sunshower sock is an everyday workhorse with just a hint of fancy. The heels are worked in a lattice of slipped stitches called Eye of Partridge for additional cush and durability, and slipped stitches also liven up the cuff stripes.
This sock was designed to accompany bundles of San Juan Woolworks Riffle, grey MC and yellow CC, and can also be worked in Skagit Woolen Works Fir Oak Sock or 336 yards (100 g) fingering-weight wool in MC, 84 yards (25 g) in CC.
