Sunsprite
This casual cotton shawl adds a carefree, or perhaps retro, touch to your spring and summer wardrobe. A simple knotted stitch keeps it open and light and it’s finished off with a playful fringe.
The sample shawl was knit in worsted weight elann Den-M-Nit Pure Indigo Cotton but the pattern could be used with any weight yarn.
NOTE: If you haven’t worked with Den-M-Nit before, it really does need to be washed/soaked and dried to become it’s true self, it will plump up and fill out the lacy fabric. Don’t despair that it will remain looking like a pile of tangled string. LOL!
Our sample used every last bit of 200g (368m/400yds) of elann Den-M-Nit, so a range has been included as the amount needed could vary slightly between knitters. The size is easily adjustable for a larger or smaller shawl.
