I love this project because it is so quick (I can have one done in half an hour!) and just as cute as anything I would spend a lot more time on. It’s perfect for beginners because it uses a simple garter stitch, and very few stitches on huge needles.

As I note in the pattern, you can actually separate 2 skeins of yarn into 4 equal parts to avoid having to buy 4 skeins. If you use the regular Thick n Quick yarn, it should work out just about perfectly. If you use another yarn, you may need 4 skeins.
