Superbloom Cowl
Bold bands of color in this large, warm cowl will brighten up your winter wardrobe. This cowl is a long loop knit in the round and then joined together.
The stitch pattern uses only one color at a time; the chevron effect is made with slipped and dipped stitches.

100% Superwash Merino Wool; 200 yd/2.8 oz (182 m/80 g) skeins
1 skein each of six colors, shown in Color A: Cascara (dark purple); Color B: Sweet Pea (dark pink); Color C: Whitsunday (orange); Color D: Rainforest (teal); Color E: By the Sea (lighter teal); Color F: Princess Party (speckled pink)
Or 170 yards/160 meters of DK weight yarn in each of 6 colors; approximately 1020 yards/940 meters total.

Circumference (as you knit): 19”/47.5 cm

US 5 (3.75mm) circular needles, 16”/40 cm long, or size to obtain gauge
Gauge
Blocked: 20 stitches and 36 rounds = 4”/10 cm in Slipped Stitch Chevron Pattern.
Unblocked: 24 stitches and 36 rounds = 4”/10 cm in Slipped Stitch Chevron Pattern.
Gauge is not crucial for this project, but will affect yardage and finished size if different from above.
