For retro fans and surfers this chubby little Camper Van is sure to delight. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the camper van and surfboard are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). There is no tricky colour-work to master here, if you can change colour at the end of a row to knit stripes then you can make a camper. The camper van pieces are knitted in stockinette stitch and sewn together, and the white window struts are embroidered after knitting in duplicate stitch.

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm straight single pointed knitting needles (US 4).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Paintbox Yarns Simply DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/276m skein in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling and buttons.

SIZES
One size only - 11.5cm tall x 13cm long.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, knitting stripes, and seaming to finish.
