Svalbard
This pattern is in the process of being updated to bring it into line with my current standards. It will be unavailable in the meantime.
Svalbard is a seamless cardigan worked in the round from the bottom up and steeked. Stitches are later picked up along the steeked edge for the button band and short row shaped shawl collar.
While the pattern gives yardage requirements in full balls, the three contrasting colors not used for the bears require no more than a few grams of wool each and you can easily use leftover scraps from another project for them.
MC: 230 (345, 345, 345, 460) yards 210 (315, 315, 315, 420) meters
CC for bears: 115 yards 105 meters
Techniques used: Stranded color work, steeking, short rows, knitting in the round
