Swan Lake
Inspired by the ballet of the same name, we have an heirloom shawl worthy of such an amazing story. Yarn colors are based on the characters, motifs hold the vegetation, feathers and the swan throughout for a pleasant all over pattern edged in hard lines. With our fine thread, tiny needles and 11/0 beads we will make a work of art over a years time. This year we are taking a bit of a break as we are going up to a size 1 needle, collective sighs all around. When we are done the shawl will be a massive piece that may just win you, blue ribbons at the local state fair. Kits available on blog page.
