SWANZEY Mittens
A cozy pair of fair isle mittens is a must-have for any knitter’s wardrobe. The dense fabric keeps out the cold while the bright color contrasts provide a pick-me-up on gray, winter days. Inspired by snowflakes, these mittens are a quick knit for experts and a perfect project for knitters new to colorwork.
As with any fair isle project, knitters must be careful to not allow the main sections to become too tight and to not float yarn for more than three or four stitches at a time. These mittens don’t have the stretch of a single-color project, so choose your size carefully!
