Approximately 185 yards of dk/light worsted weight yarn
2 skeins mYak Medium (100% baby yak; 125 yds/50g)

COWL
Approximately 575 yards of dk/light worsted weight yarn
5 skeins mYak Medium (100% baby yak; 125 yds/50g)

GAUGE
30 stitches and 28 rounds = 4”/10cm over charted patterns with larger needles.
You may experience looser gauge when working the larger circumference of the cowl

HAT
Main Fabric Needle: One 16” circular and one set of double-pointed needles (DPNs) in size needed to obtain gauge
Suggested size: US 6 (4.0 mm)
Ribbing Needle: One 16” circular two sizes smaller than
Main Fabric Needle
Suggested size: US 4 (3.5 mm)

COWL
Main Fabric Needle: One 24” circular
Suggested size: US 6 (4.0 mm)
Ribbing Needle: One 24” circular one size smaller than Main Fabric Needle
Suggested size: US 5 (3.75 mm)
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge

TOOLS
Blunt tapestry needle, ring stitch marker (s), cable needle

FINISHED DIMENSIONS (after blocking)
HAT: 19 ¼“ circumference (unstretched) and 8 ½” high, fabric is very stretchy and will accommodate a range of head sizes
COWL: 25 ½“ circumference and 8½” high
